Today marks the first birthday of the Love is Louder movement, part of The Jed Foundation to raise awareness and prevent suicide and emotional distress. This morning on Facebook, Love is Louder asked people across the globe to create Art and Action, two components of today's celebration.
So today, after many, many months of empty consideration, I have finally begun a blog of things that inspire me, trinkets and people and moments that make me know my life is not only worth living, but living brightly, with purpose. Welcome to post number one.
In this, my first post, and in honor of #LoveisLouder, I've made a small list of things I love, many of which I discovered today, and some I've loved for years.
The epic epicenter of indie music discovery. Indie bands, well-known and unknown, have a unique opportunity to record acoustic covers and remixes of current songs. Some sessions are previews of new albums and some are revivals of old tunes. Whatever the session, posted daily, they are always worth the listen. Best of all, it's all free.
Here you can find top of the line photography and journalist that reveals a new perspective on international issues. Also includes pictures of the year, photo essays, Time covers and more. What's your passion? Time will have a photo of it (not to mention a full stock of some of the coverage of almost any topic).

Surely you have all heard of this website, a humble blog such as mine with a simple cause: to offer an outlet for your secrets. The effect? Life-changing and saving words from others who share the weight and pain of your deepest secrets without exposing any authors. It's is an inspiration to see the bravery of some and the restful relief of many who have emptied their urn of regrets. Maybe someday you feel totally alone in a particular experience, or possibly you're interested in how you could ever let go of the past.
Go to this website, and every Sunday, you'll be inspired.
These are things that inspired me today. What inspired you? Share you inspirations with me, and I'll share more with you.
Good tidings of great joy.
